Kabir
Kabir is a conceptual furniture piece made entirely out of Sheetrock. The piece is derived from the movement of my ancestors. Having been uprooted from their home and seen as less than human, these powerful people manifested a new identity, and beautiful culture despite adversity. As such, I re-evaluated the menial view on sheetrock, an under-appreciated material in home building, and gave it a new sophisticated identity; Beautiful furniture.
